Born and raised in the heart of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I carry with me the soulful spirit of the South wherever I go. At 33 years old, I’m blessed with a beautiful family—three wonderful kids and an amazing wife who has been my partner in life for 12 years. My roots run deep in my faith, serving as a worship leader and staying deeply involved in my church community.

For 12 years, I dedicated my career to Boeing, gaining invaluable experience before embarking on a new adventure—starting Café LaFaye. When I'm not playing music, you can find me cherishing every moment with my family and friends, creating memories that weave the rich tapestry of our lives. Whether it’s the rhythm of a good hymn or the laughter of loved ones, my life is filled with the grace and joy that only the bayou can bring.

FAQs

Everything you might be wondering about our coffee, beignets, and events — all in one place.

  • What are beignets?

Beignets (pronounced ben-yays) are classic New Orleans-style pastries — light, fluffy squares of dough fried until golden and covered in powdered sugar.

  • What do your beignets taste like?

Our beignets taste like a sweet dough pastry, golden brown on the outside, perfectly pillowy on the inside, and topped with a generous snowfall of powdered sugar. Warm, soft, and unforgettable.

  • How many beignets come in an order?

Each order includes three to four fresh, hot beignets, depending on their size.

And if you’re lucky, we might toss in a little lagniappe,  that’s what us New Orleanians call “a little something extra.” 😉

  • When are beignets best to eat?

Right away! Beignets are best enjoyed hot and fresh while the outside is crisp and the inside is soft and pillowy.

    Fun Fact:

Powdered sugar on your shirt just means you’re doing it right 😄

  • Can I order beignets for an event?

Absolutely! Beignets are one of our most popular event items for weddings, parties, schools, and corporate gatherings. Click Here to get more info

  • Are your beignets made fresh?

Yes! Our beignets are prepared fresh and fried hot on-site so you get that crisp golden outside and soft, airy inside.

  • Do you offer dipping sauces or toppings?

We keep our beignets traditional and serve them dusted generously with powdered sugar,  just like in New Orleans.

But… if you’re feeling a little sassy, we also offer Nutella and organic jam as optional pairings for an extra sweet twist.

  • Do you use quality ingredients?

Absolutely. Our beignets are made with mostly organic ingredients, giving you that homemade, rich flavor you can feel good about. We believe in keeping our ingredients as clean and high-quality as possible.

  • Are your beignets gluten-free?

No, traditional beignets are made with wheat flour and are not gluten-free.

However, offering a gluten-free option is something we are actively exploring for our future café location as we continue expanding our menu to serve more dietary needs.
